Center of Excellence
(APC) at Nano Center Indonesia (NCI), a research wing of PT Nanotech Indonesia Global Tbk conducts nanotechnology research and development focusing on innovative product consultancy, nanomaterials characterization, and nano-based applications in semiconductor materials and petroleum extraction.
Exploration area
In the APC team, we tackle emerging challenges in wastewater treatment, nanomaterial synthesis, and the tuning of energy materials. We combine material synthesis, advanced characterisation conducted in-house or with collaborators, and data analysis to better understand how modern science can provide various solutions in the field of applied physics and chemistry.
The implementation of micro- and nanobubbles technology in which the size of a liquid-based nanomaterials are created into ultrafine dimension (less than 100 micrometers) for the remediation of wastewater applications.
Electrospinning method is utilized to fabricate one-dimensional of polymer-based nanofibers, which is the central instrument in this sub-team. Several promising applications such as air filtration, biomedical, and energy, environmental are pursued.
Application of nanotechnology in the form of nanomaterials and nanobubbles for implementation in oil and gas industry.
The intriguing phenomena across the emergent such materials are strongly correlated to the chemistry and physical processes that governing their structure-property relationships. In this subteam, several advanced spectroscopic techniques are utilized to unravel the optical responses, electronic structures, and other intriguing properties.
The APC group is currently not accepting full-time staff positions. However, the group is opened to undergraduate and graduate students who wants to conduct their thesis research with APC assistance. Please consult the guide to doing the thesis together at our Career page.
Other intents related on career research should be addressed to Dr. Arramel (arramel@nano.or.id) directly.
Those who are interested to enter NCI on other teams or research group should consult the parent organisation website independently.
